Why consign now?
Our next sale, Auction #8, takes place on 2 November 2026. Consignments are accepted until 31 August 2026. Early consignment means more time for professional cataloguing, photography and international marketing — the key factors behind strong results. Items consigned close to the deadline may have to wait for the following auction.
Frequently Asked Questions about Consignment Services
How much does consignment cost?
There is no entry fee and no seller’s commission. Our terms are published transparently on our website.
How long does the process take?
From consignment to payout, typically 3–6 months, depending on how far in advance of the auction your items are consigned. Early consignment ensures inclusion in the next catalogue.
What items do you accept for auction?
We accept coins, medals and banknotes — from single pieces to complete collections and estates. Admission is selective: our experts assess whether your material fits the profile of our auctions.
How do I request an evaluation?
Simply send us photos of your items through our contact form or by e-mail to info@provenanceauctions.eu. The initial evaluation is free of charge and comes with no obligation to consign.
Is an advance payment possible?
Yes. As a financially secure company, we can offer advance payments on consigned material where appropriate — this is agreed individually.
Where can I hand over my items?
In person at our Vienna or Budapest office, or by courier — in both cases exclusively by prior arrangement.
